NEW POSSIBILITIES OF APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION

In this research work, the concept of artificial intelligence, advantages and disadvantages and new possibilities of applying methods, techniques and tools of artificial intelligence in the function of improving the educational process will be explored and presented. Based on the review of the latest literature in this field, the possibilities of the ChatGPT tool will be presented, and the way it can help teachers and students in mastering the teaching content. The fundamental goal of the work is the evaluation of new possibilities of applying artificial intelligence and ChatGPT, in the creation of appropriate teaching content. The methodology of a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods of scientific research will be applied in the paper. For the purposes of the work, research will be conducted in educational institutions of primary and secondary education in Kosovo and Metohija with the aim of showing the effects of practical application and indicators of adoption or acceptance by teachers and students. The results of research and experience from practice, especially after the pandemic caused by the COVID 19 virus, show that teachers who have mastered digital competencies and skills use ChatGPT more productively in order to improve their teaching potential in creating original teaching materials, e.g. didactic games, thus enabling inclusion, easier and faster adaptation of teaching to the individual needs of each student
