CREATIVITY PROGRESS IN DIGITAL ERA

The progress of digitalization has been a big game changer in art and design filed for decades, however the key enigma lays within the future impact of digital usage on the creativity process. Having determined the benefits from using the digital aid over the last years, one of the key segments that need to be unfold is the influence of the usage of this kind of assistance in the creativity process.
Therefore, the paper aims to identify the attributes that match within the research process particularly from the ready-made design in the graphic design field. The benefit of unjudgmental and creative thinking lead to conduct an experiment among second grade design students by assigning a task related to a basic design monogram project. The project is made from three stages, in which the first is oriented towards research, the second task is analyzing the hand drawing of the ideas and the last is digital aggregation of the idea.
The assembled work from the students is categorized according the resembles form the ready-made work of the same task identified in the search engines, social media, and digital design magazines.
The result of this experiment is a sound base towards understanding the level of digital aid impact in the process of creativity by defining the attributes among the student work and research references.
